BABIK - MARKHAM [Matagorda County, TX] MARKHAM - Cyrill M. Babik, 82, of Markham, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006. He was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Frydeck, to the late Leopold Babik and Frances Chrastina. He was a farmer and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing and K.J.T. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: son, C.J. Babik Sr. of Markham; sister, Lilly Biskup of Bay City; brother, Jerry Babik of Bay City; and one grandchild. Preceded in death by: wife, Catherine DeSalvo Babik; daughters, Cecilia Babik and Mary Babik; and brother, Leo Babik. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Triska Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Blessing, the Rev. Samuel Appiasi officiating.
