She was born September 22, 1918, in Hungerford, Texas, to William Kessler, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Morgan Kessler. She was a cook for the Van Vleck ISD for many years. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Bill Zigo; daughters, Mary Ann Yarborough and Louise Radford; sister, Etter Tice; brothers, William and Walter Kessler; and grandchildren Roy Yarborough, Jr. and Tonya Rucker. Survivors include: two daughters, Barbara Wilkinson and Julia Faye Zigo, both of Van Vleck; sons, Bill and wife Donna Zigo of Van Vleck, and James and wife Eleanor Kessler of San Marcos; sisters, Ruby Leinmeir and Bessie Birdwell, both of Eagle Lake; grandchildren, Shirley and John White, Kathy and Gene Eidlebach, Tonya and William Whatley, David and Mary Radford, James Robert Kessler, Sherry and Brad Morwin, Skeeter Rucker, Shonda and Ricky Hawn and Coy Reed; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Van Vleck, with the Rev. Robert Hobbins officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Robert Kessler, David Radford, Christopher Paschall, Billy Yarborough, Doug Strother, William and Matthew Whatley, William and Jason Eidlebach and Skeeter Rucker.
