She was born on July 19, 1924, to Philip and Altha Davis. Juna owned restaurants in Sweeny and a bait camp at Sargent for many years. She was the last of 16 siblings. Survivors include: husband of 41 years, Chester Louie Plunk of Sweeny; son, Harold Cherry of Kaufman; daughter, Sally Wilson of Bronte; step-daughter, Debbie Shaw of Houston; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: parents, Phillip and Altha Davis; step-daughter, Sherri Goins; 10 brothers; and five sisters. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Baker Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in West Columbia, with Wayne Vinson officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Pallbearers will be Terry Aldrich, Randy Aldrich, Charlie Tipps, Hourk B. Ung, Ken Crumpler and Kim A.H. Khouv.
