Sherrer, 92, of Fort Worth, formerly of Bay City, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006. She was born July 5, 1913, in Odell, Neb. to the late John and Lillian Spirk Herman. She was a teacher in Bay City. Survivors: sons, Henry Sherrer Jr., John Sherrer, and Van Sherrer; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Henry J. Sherrer; and one sister. Visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. tonight at Bay City Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church chapel, the Rev. Pauline Harvey officiating.
