He was born March 18, 1943, in Matagorda County, Texas, to the late Marcell and Annie Georgia Janise Loose. Mr. Loose was a member of the Catholic Church of Bay City, and a resident of Markham since 1973. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 until 1964, and retired in 1997 as a plant operator for Dow Chemical Co. with 28 years of service. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Nemec of Markham; sister, Letha Mae Bailey of Bay City; brother, Walter Loose of Angleton; and three grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan and Derek Nemec, all of Markham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Loose, in October 2000. The rosary was held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home and the funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, with the Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were J.B. Frieley, Ram Menardo, Wayne Anderson, Manuel Anzaldua, Harry “Bubba” Janise and Benito Trevino. Arrangements with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City (979) 245-4613.
