He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a World War I veteran, and a resident of the Bay City area for 13 years. Survivors include: Mrs. Clara Barton Miller of Bay City; 1 son, James Ray Miller of Bay City; 1 sister, Mrs. John Dunn of Lancaster; 1 grandson, James Daniel Miller. Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, at Taylor Brothers Chapel with Rev. W. D. O'Neal and Rev. Rand Baxter officiating. Interment was at Roselawn Memorial Park with pallbearers being: Elmer Bittner, Billy Denn, C. L. Smith, Dale Wilson, Bobby Craft, and Jimmy Wright.
