Christopher, 32, of Austin, Texas, lost his battle with diabetes Friday, April 28, 2006 at Heart Hospital in Austin, Texas. He was born December 28, 1973, in El Campo, Texas to Gene and Elizabeth (Moore) Maretka. Before his struggle became a battle with diabetes, Chris was an EMT and Firefighter with Williamson County and also on the Water Rescue Team with Travis County. Christopher's grandmother is the late Tillie Moore of Eagle Lake and nephew of Francis (Braddock) Sepeda. He is survived by: his parents and brother, Michael Wayne and Fiancee McKenzie; uncles, Ernest Moore, Everett Moore and children, Kolby and Kathryn, James and Kathy Moore and children, Amy, Kristi, Rusty and Cody; aunt, Janis (Moore) and husband Glenn Hayes and son Robby Henske and wife Stacey; cousin, Johnny Braddock.
