He was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Edna to the late Juan Sosa and the late Adela Medrano Sosa. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors: daughters, Amelia Sosa, Blanca Sosa and Sandra Garcia, all of Bay City, Leticia Sosa, Eva Nieto and Maria Elena Sosa, all of Matamoros, Mexico; sons, Paul Sosa and Javier Sosa, both of Bay City, and Arturo Sosa of Matamoros, Mexico; brother, Moses Sosa of Houston; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: wife, Amelia Sosa; numerous brothers and sisters. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Hill Winfrey officiating.
