PEREZ A Knights of Columbus Rosary for Victor L. Perez, 76, of Palacios was recited May 12, 2006 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Funeral services were held May 13, 2006 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Dwomoh officiating. Interment was follow at the Palacios Cemetery. Mr. Perez was born March 23, 1930 in Olivia, Tx. to Ascencion and Anastacia Lopez Perez. He died May 11, 2006 at his residence. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict; retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. in 1982; was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church; a life long resident of Palacios; a member of Alcoa 25 Year Club; and Life Member and Chaplain of the Palacios VFW Post 2467. He is survived by his wife Anita Guzman Perez; daughter and son-in-law Sylvia and Tom Navarro; son and daughter-in-law Richard G. and Christine Perez all of Palacios; sisters Cruz Carmelo of South Houston and Dominga Gonzales of Palacios; brothers Henry L. Perez of Palacios, Paul Perez of Pt. Lavaca, Mike Perez of Houston and Valentine Perez of Bay City; grandchildren Irma Gonzales, Iris Gonzales and Richard Joseph Perez; great grandchildren Amado Ray Mata, Aaron Mata, Angelina Renee Navarro, Evione Roy, Jauslyn Rubio and Richard Jamal Perez.
