She was born in Cameron, Texas, to Jimmie and Mary Ellen Conner on April 29, 1918. Mrs. Gatts is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Thomas F. Gatts; brothers, Elwood, Preston, Joe, Milton and Marvin Conner. She is survived by: her daughter, Margie Ivy; son, Richard Moore and wife Jeanenne; step-son, Thomas F. Gatts and wife Sandy; step-daughter, Gayle Turrentine and husband Don; grandson, Rick Moore and wife Donna; granddaughter, Jeanie Tamborella and husband Mickey; sisters, Mickey Higginbotham and husband Bob and Kathryn Paschal; brother, Bobby John Conner and wife Jimmie Dee; great-grandsons, Kris, Andrew and Matthew Moore and great-great-granddaughter, Zoe Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Alan Dalrymple. The family received friends from 5 until 9 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2005, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas. Funeral services were at noon on Friday in the chapel, with interment following in the cemetery.
