Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. He was born in Bay City, Texas, August 12, 1938, to Albert Lemon and Georgia Scott Lemon, and passed away October 15, 2005, in Wharton, Texas. Survivors include: wife, Bessie Harkless Lemon of Bay City; two daughters, Bevy Lemon and Stephanie Bell (and Derek), all of Houston; two sons, Miko Lemon of Houston, and Albert Lemon of Crystal Springs, Mississippi; two sisters, Vivian Dent (and Lee) of Austin, and Patsy King of Sugar Land; and one brother, Lloyd Lemon of Bay City; aunt, Bessie Walker of Compton, California; two uncles, Marshall Scott of El Maton, and Roscoe Scott (and Patricia) of Houston; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers will be Artis Collins, Jarrett Jackson, Belvis King, Donald Lemon, Quincy Lemon and Rufus Nunn. Arrangements are with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home, Bay City, Texas.
