She was born on July 22,1919, in Pierce, Texas, to the late Frank and Rosalie Prochoska Hubenak, and had resided at the Legacy in Bay City for the past seven years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the SPJST. Tillie was a homemaker. Tillie is survived by: sons, C.J. Massingill and wife Bonita of Canyon Lake, Ron Massingill and wife Brenda of Dallas, and Ken Massingill and wife Kathy of Grandbury; grandchildren, Rem Massingill, Kim Lowery, Tam McBee and Carol-Lin Englund; great-grandchildren, Cody Hall, Derek Hall and Tye McBee; and sister, Olga Webb of El Campo. Tillie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, C.J. Massingill Sr., and brothers, Jimmy, Robert, Frank, Avin Sr. and Edwin Hubenak. Visitation was at noon Monday, September 26, 2005, at Triska Funeral Home. A parish rosary was recited at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial followed at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Tommy Hubenak, Avin Hubenak, Leon Webb, Rooster Lieb, Billy Fuechec and Daniel Hubenak. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Wied, Richard Hubenak, Ricky Hubenak and Glen Sczech. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 96268, Washington, DC, 20090-6268. The family would like to thank the Legacy Nursing Home of Bay City for their loving care for Tillie the past seven years. Also special thanks to caregiver Ruby Huerta.
