She died November 22, 2005, in Bay City Texas. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank J. Moore; brother, Harold Rollins; and two grandchildren. She is survived by: one sister, Inez Merrill and her children of Springerville, Arizona; children, Frank (Wanda) of Redlands, California, Lance Gene (Betty) of Bay City, Texas, David (Shirley) of Pasadena, Texas, Shirley Tolbert of Porter, Texas, Harold (Lavon) of Mayflower, Alaska, and Orvin Apgar (Karen) of Porter, Texas. Sylvia lived 45 years in North Houston, where she attended Bethel and Airline Baptist Churches. She had 25 grandchildren, and 63 great-grandchildren, whom all called her “Gee-Gee.” Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, at the Brookside Funeral Home Chapel.
