J. Lewings officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Williams died Nov. 8, 2005, at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born Aug. 19, 1929, in Pledger to A.D. and Mamie Turner Williams. Survivors include sons, Glen Williams Jr., A.D. Williams II, Lynn Anthony Williams and Cleon Williams, all of Wharton; daughters, Bobbie Brown of Houston, Elvira Bess, Mary Allen and Kaye Williams, all of Wharton; sisters, Louise Watson of Freeport, Mamie Etta Piper of Houston and Mary Alice Gordon of Wharton; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
