He was born May 29, 1938, in Hunt County, Texas, to the late Millard F. and Nora Hammond Hart. Mr. Hart was a resident of Bay City for the past 39 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was the former owner and operator of the Butcher Shop in Bay City. Survivors include: wife, Shirley Beavers Hart of Bay City; two daughters and a son-in-law, Page Hart of Denver, Colorado, and Lisa and Rich Curnutt of Shreveport, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Pam Hart of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Beverley Leach and Nancy Woodall, both of Greenville, Texas; and three grandchildren, Morgan Evans of Arlington, Ricky Curnutt and Sarah Curnutt, both of Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by: his son, Kyle Hart; and brother, William Hart. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers include Dean Gantt, Gene Woodall, Jay Kennedy, Lacy Lowery and Rick Curnutt.
