She lived in Sweeny, Texas. She passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at Sweeny Community Hospital. Services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at Bethlehem AME Church on Hwy 35 Old Ocean, Texas, by the Rev. Eddie G. Reed, officiating. Visitation was from 1 until 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at E. Viola & Son Funeral Home at 205 North Broad Street West Columbia, Texas, 77486. Survivors were: one son, Eddie Allen (Lovie) Baugh, Sr. of Sweeny, Texas; three reared daughters, Bernice Colbert (Michael) and Barbara Baugh, both of Sweeny, Texas, and Anita Bess of Clute, Texas; one sister, Cynthia (Sam) Spikes; and 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
