Rodriguez Sr. - PALACIOS [Matagorda County, Texas] PALACIOS - Manuel David "Coon" Rodriguez Sr., 59, of Palacios, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006. He was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Palacios, to the late Miguel and Eva Alvarado Rodriguez. He was a commercial shrimper and a Catholic. Survivors: sons, Mark Rodriguez of Birmingham, Ala., Manuel David Rodriguez Jr. of Dallas, and Johnny Lucio Rodriguez of Palacios; sisters, Mary Ellen Flores and Mary Diaz, both of Palacios; brothers, Michael Rodriguez and Johnny Rodriguez, both of La Porte; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 p.m. tonight at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church in Palacios. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at the church. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev.
