She was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Houston, to the late Roland and Jennie Florance Sweeten Koss. Survivors: husband, Roy Loftin; sons, Dennis Wayne Loftin and Timothy Edward Loftin, both of Palacios; and three grandchildren.
