W. Preslar, died at the hospital in Bay City, Tuesday at 2:45 A.M., aged 36 years, 5 months and 23 days. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Doris, two sons, Clifford and Billy, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Griffin of Robstown, Texas, one sister, Mrs. E. B. Hogg, and one brother A. B. Griffin of this city. The remains were prepared for burial and brought to Palacios by Taylor Bros. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., in the service room of the Palacios Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. J. Roy Williams, and Rev. R. Paine, of the Methodist Church. Interment was made in the Palacios cemetery under the direction of the Palacios Funeral Home. The Beacon joins the many friends in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
