He was born October 12, 1951, in Bay City, to Charlie and Dora Troutman Warn. Billy served in the U.S. Navy from 1971 until 1977, and his favorite pastime was fishing and hanging out with his friends. Survivors include: parents, Charlie and Dora Warn of Markham; son, B.J. Warn of New Boston, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and D.L. Layton of Bay City, Helen and Buddy Pratt of Ft. Worth, Texas, Dorothy and Henry Havel of West Columbia, Texas, and Lilly and Tony Distasi of Kennedale, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Warn of Kennedale, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, Jean Warn and K.T. Eckerd. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Goodman officiating. Interment followed at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing, Texas. Pallbearers were Lee C. Strelec, Billy Ware, Richard Hendry, James Hanzik, Jessie Satterfield and Larry Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers were Jennifer and Greg Carter, K.T. Eckerd, Audrey Lovett, Larry Ware and Donald Ludwig. Arrangements with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
