Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at Rhema Fellowship with the Rev. Dan Villereal officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Wharton. She was born Sept. 13, 1956 in Wharton to Juanita Pecina Pena and the late Luciano Pena. She was called by our Heavenly Father on Aug. 7, 2005. She had many passions in her life including singing and dancing. She fulfilled many dreams during her short stay on this earth. One of her biggest passions in life was her grandchildren, Andrew and Allyson Lucio who she will be greatly missed by. Her family was her world, but the biggest passion of all was her love for the Lord Jesus Christ. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Lucio, Sr.; sons Joey Lucio and wife Shauna,of Markham, and Steven Lucio of Bay City; and daughter Desi Reed and husband, Jeff, of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her father, Luciano Pena; and father-in-law Abel Balli Lucio. Pallbearers are John Pena, Ernest Pena, Eugene Pena, Abel Lucio, Gilbert Lucio and Johnny Lucio.
