He was born September 6, 1953, in Bay City to James Leslie and Elsie Taylor Black. He is survived by: his son, Chase Black; daughters, Leslie and Rae Ann Black, all of Rockport; grandsons, Trenton, Aven and Seth; his companion, Linda Amdal of Rockport; mother, Elsie Taylor Black of Markham; he is also survived by his brothers, Kenneth and Jerilyn Black of Bay City, Mike Black of Houston, and Tom and Karen of Markham. Survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Leslie Black. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005, at the Markham United Methodist Church.
