She was born September 23, 1932 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Lee William and Dicy Marie Wilson Pohl. Fay was a longtime resident of Palacios and Brownsville, TX. She grew up and went to school in Brownsville, participating there in the nationally recognized marching band. Music retained a special place in her life for many years afterward. Fay was a public school teacher, a homemaker, and helped operate a small business with her husband. Survivors include: 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law; Terri Curtis, Sherri & Greg Seaman all of Palacios; Cindy & Mark Krause of Olivia, TX; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law; Thomas Lee & Barbara Harr of LaFeria, TX, and Charles Harr of Brownsville, TX; 2 brothers: Lee Wayne Pohl of Eureka Springs, AR, and Marshall Pohl of Harlingen, TX; 9 grandchildren: Melanie Harr & Susan Harr both of McAllen, Heath Curtis of Brownsville, Kristan Harr of Palacios, Jon Barron of Lake Jackson, Leslie Barron, & Kevin Krause both of Port Lavaca, Kyle & Zachary Seaman both of Palacios; 1 great granddaughter: Calista Harr of McAllen, TX; Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2005 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Don Storey officiating. Graveside Fuenral Service will be 12:00 Noon Friday at Brownsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Brownsville, TX. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2909 W.
