He was born September 9, 1937, in Wadsworth, Texas, to the late Horacio Albert “Pat” and Helen C. Ottis Lundin. Pat was a rural mail carrier for 20 years, a self-employed rice farmer and worked in the family construction business. He was a member of Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church, VFW Post No. 3304, Optimas Club and Calhoun County Drainage District No. 8. Survivors include: his wife, JoAnn Lundin of Port Lavaca; daughter, Debra Jo Lundin Boyd and husband Randy Boyd of Port Lavaca; sons, David Raymond Lundin and wife Pam Nunley Lundin of Port Lavaca, and Michael Patrick Lundin and wife Tracy Lundin of Victoria; brother, Thomas Huston and wife Martha Huston of Wadsworth; sister, Elaine Ruddick and husband Edward Ruddick of Inez; grandchildren, Jonathon King Boyd, Jeremy Patrick Boyd, Kathryn JoAnn Boyd, Courtney Josephine Lundin, Jordan Lucretia Lundin, Caleb Michael Lundin, Chad Ray Thornbrough, Blain Patrick Lundin; and great-grandchild, Chad Ray Thornbrough, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Sonny Huston. Visitation was held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2005, with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005, at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church. Interment was to follow at Seadrift Cemetery.
