She was born February 5, 1947, in Houston, Texas, to the late Solomon and Maria Sanchez Cadriel. Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Bay City. Survivors include: husband, Librado “Lee” Rodriguez of Bay City; daughters, Irene Gutierrez and husband, Lupe Gutierrez III, Mary Ann Erevia and husband, Bernard, all of Bay City, and Corina Jones and husband, Ronnie, of Magnolia, Texas; sisters, Patsy Longoria of Wharton, Rosie Morales of Bay City, Janie Vela of Van Vleck, and Sophie Navarez of North Carolina; bothers, Frank Cadriel of Houston, Joe Cadriel of Bay City, and Lupe Cadriel of Austin; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Stella Escobar and Rosario Cadriel; and brothers, Jesse Anzulda, Rosendo Cadriel, Felipe Cadriel, Juan Cadriel and Solomon Cadriel, Jr. Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home and the funeral mass was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment was to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Vleck, Texas. Pallbearers will be Wally Escobar, Caesar Morales, Jr., Ricky Longoria, Larry Longoria, Anthony Jiminez and Ruben Lozano. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City (979) 245-4613.
