    1. Re Update ...Joseph (1826-1870) and Green Berry (1794-1854)Waldrop.
    2. Carol Ann, JRW: Joseph Ryan Waldrop GBW: Green Berry Waldrop GFW: Gilbert Franklin Waldrop HLW: Harry LaMonte Waldrop JMHW: Josep Mark Henry Waldrop Our JRW has more sighting than Elvis. Going to scoot up and visit with Ron. I will be home tomorrow afternoon. This Saturday, Ron and I are going to visit with the people who now owns GBW"s land. It was owned by the Callaways who owns the Well known(Ida Cason) Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain m Georgia. The land is now owned by the John Amos family who owns Aflax... you know the Insurance Company with the little loud mouth duck that is always screaming AFLAX! I found out who bought the land in 1840 from GBW , now I have to find the ones who bought and sold the land in the between time. When I visit Ron, I am always going in and out the 202 1/s acres he owned. All the other land he owned surrounds my neighborhood and my County. GBW constituted the many Baptist (Primitive) Churches in Harris County which is out my back door. and the Baptist where he was a Minister1832-1839 is down the street and take a right in my Muscogee County. GFW was buried 12 miles from Columbus and that makes him buried somewhere in my back yard.(almost or maybe) JRW was here in 1850, I found him listed as leaving and not paying his taxes. (Taxes, that's why I thought he might have been an artist and not a house painter. I wonder if house painters reported their jobs???hmmmman artist (painter) if he had an office downtown would have reported his earnings....I have a friend of the family (electrician)who earned nearly 80 thousand dollars a year and reported about 30 thousand....JRW wouldn't have been beyond that.) I am on top of JRW and his connection to St Stephen,Washington County, Alabama. This is where the GBW owned land. I wonder if our JRW went there to sell or if there were other Waldrops there.Washington County,Alabama is where he was Physician, Minister, Retail Merchant, KKK, beat up the Judge of Probate, State Rep. of Washington County, Justice of the Peace, bought and sold horses from other Countries., and was ambushed and killed. If Harry LaMonte matches or not, I would love to have your cousin and Harry match. Our JRW has to be the same. He is a scalawag, suspected to be thief, our stories of an duel, marry or not marry many women, some loved and adored him and some hated him, this was told to me by Aunt Louise his granddaughter and of course you have your stories of Joseph Mark Henry Waldrop. Remember the story I told you about when he was visiting Churches in Washington County preaching for days and he came home to find my grandmother holding my grandpapa who was only a few months old. She had walked the floor for days and nights, he came in and took the baby sat down and held him with elbows on his knees and his big hands around the baby's tiny little head when my grandmother slept thru the night , she woke up to find JRW in the same position holding his hands around the baby's head , JRW never moved a muscle all night. The baby , my grandpapa stop crying and the problem went away. JRW told Sara, my grandmother that the cradle part in his had had not closed and the soft spot was open and and the bone were hurting the baby, JRW, told my grandmother his hands closed the bones to form the skull, what ever he did, grandmaw Sarah said, it worked, the baby was smiling and was hungry. Then, when JRW was ambushed and killed in 1870 , this same Sarah looked over his body as the men brought him home thru the front door , she spoke as she laid her hands on his shoulder "I've always told you Joseph, you would someday come home boots first." In Washington County he was loved and hated. You know Carol Ann, we have to be related to JRW , look how you and I turned out. When it comes to researching JRW and GBW we are strong will , stubborn and refuse to let that Brick Wall stay standing. Look how we found your extra son on census, you knowing GBW had another child and how I found the child Gilbert Franklin Waldrop as that child. Look at the at least five wives...wives...maybe he married them and maybe he didn't. We've found JRW in first Georgia, then Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas and back to Georgia(Gwenette County, Harris County, Muscogee County, Macon Columbus and Orglethorpe Georgia (West Point in Georgia is also mentioned) where he did more damage. Don't forget the JRW ,Physician in TN ., with wife,Emily, and more children, and I am trying to convince you...he could have worked them in. Sounds like Emily was home base for him, when he left a wife he would go back to Emily for a while and leave a child and and then he was on his way. King HenryVlll had nothing on JRW. I am holding my breath waiting to see if HLW will match. Later, take care.....ya'll have a great week end. Sandra maiden name Waldrop Muscogee County, Georgia
