Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty Matthews of Bay City, and Dorothy and Clarence Sellers of Brazoria, Texas; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis Gryder of Andrews, Texas and William E. "Bill" and Elizabeth Johnson of Van Vleck, Texas; 13 grandchildren, Ivy Eidlebach and husband Ross, Lisa Cockrell and husband Matt, and Sheri Hooper and husband Kevin all of Van Vleck, Danny Johnson and wife Miranda of Bay City, Stephanie Ketchum of Dickinson, Michael Sellers of Seabrook, Roy Sellers of Brazoria, Darryl Gryder and wife Jena of Kermit, Texas, Lloyd Gryder and wife Cathy of Mansfield, Texas, Debra Gasglow and husband Tim of Lovington, New Mexico, Yvonne Bartz and husband Phil of Minto, North Dakota, W. Mrs. Dabelgott was an active member of St. Robert's Catholic Church in Markham and faithfully attended her "Senior Citizen's Group" every Tuesday. She also was a member of the Texas Retired Teacher's Association. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and J. B. Freiley of Bay City, Irene and C. J. He was born in Overton, Texas on December 10, 1934 to Raymond Frank and Alberta Glick. Frank was family oriented and a hard worker. He lived his life for his family and was always proud of them and their accomplishments. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church Sweeny. Survivors include: wife, Sandra Boone Glick of Sweeny; sons and daughter-in-law, Jace "Scooter" Glick and wife, Diane of Parker, Colorado and Shawn Glick of Sweeny; daugthers and sons-in-law, Tracie Harkins and husband, Scott of Parker, Colorado, Angie Moore and husband, Tony of Elberfield, Indiana; grandchildren, Jennifer Bell, Kynsie Benefield, Alex Moore, Tyler Glick, Tanya Glick, Colby Glick, and Colton Harkins; great grandchildren, Jasmine Bell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Ted Belcher in 1997 and three brothers Eddie, Franklin and Milton Vavra. Survivors include: two sisters, Betty Blackwell of Bay City and Alma McKissick of Palacios and a number of nieces and nephews. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. He passed away April 4, 2006 at his residence in Richmond, Texas. After the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, he enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps that same month. The 2nd Marines moved on to Tarawa, where on his 22nd birthday, he was wounded in combat. He received a Purple Heart for his service, and was Honorably Discharged on December 14, 1944. In 1950, he went to work for S. A. Russell and Associates, a local Rosenberg engineering and surveying company. On August 23, 1961, Charlie received his Texas registration as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. In 1970, he started Charlie Kalkomey Surveying, Inc. Charlie was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg since 1951, where he had served as Elder, Deacon, Trustee, Clerk of Session and Treasurer. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church of Rosenberg with the Rev. Jack Livingston and Charles A. Kalkomey, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made in memory of Charlie to the First Presbyterian Church, P. O.
