    3. Nelda Conner. Per your request: From the LLANO COUNTY FAMILY ALBUM by the Llano Historical Society: "Addison Barker Conner was born 28 September 1823 in Edgefield County, South Carolina, the son of State Senator Catlett Conner and his wife Margaret, daughter of Major William Robinson of the same place. Built around 1800, the large two story house where he was born is still standing, and is occupied by the present owner. Addison was the tenth and youngest child in his family. His mother died when he was very young, and his father died when he was about nine years old. His eldest brother, William Robinson Conner, was living in Mississippi at that time, so the next eldest brother, Albert G. Conner, became the legal guardian of Addison and their sister Jane. Edgefield Probate Court records reveal that on 4 January 1839 Albert G. Conner advised the court that he was about to remove from the state, and requested permission to settle with his wards. The settlement of the estate was made, although Addison Conner was still under age. Several members of the family, including Albert G. Conner and his sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and Daniel H. Jones, moved to Lowndes County, Alabama. It is believed that Addison and Jane went with them, and were in the Jones household in 1840. We do not know the exact date Addison Conner arrived in Texas. His marriage is on record in Burnet County, where he obtained a license to wed Marina M. Coggin 22 May 1855. Marina was born 25 December 1833 in Georgia. By 1870, with six children, Addison and Marina were living in the Doublehorn area of Burnet County, and by 1880 they were living in Llano County. Their children were George Washington, John A., James Addison, Rebecca, Lee, William, Mary and Edwin. Marina Coggin Conner died 22 June 1895, and Addison Conner died 1 June 1896. Both are buried in Board Branch Cemetery at Lone Grove in Llano County." written by Alberteen Rahe Nelda, There are two pages written about J.L. Conners, Jr. related to the Cone and Edmund families. Is this some of your family too? Wanda
