    3. Barry, Is there anyone in Llano who is willing to do lookups? I am looking for anything on John Henry Phillips b. 3-3-1854 in Clay County, Illinois, came to Texas before 1884, married Mary Iberia Haynes 12-3-1884. Second marriage was to Minnie Lee (Lawhon) Anthony 12-10-1905. He died 7-2-1927 and is buried at Marble Falls Cemetery next to his second wife. I can't find a death certificate so am looking for an obit. He was related to Benjamin Phillips and Malissa Crownover. I have plenty on his Haynes family relations, but very little on his Phillips family. I need his parents and siblings. I think he was a sheriff or deputy because there is reference to him guarding convicts in one of the family letters. He and Mary Iberia lived on Benjamin's ranch much of the time, but I haven't found any records of his land purchases. If you or anyone else there would be willing to do lookups, I too would be willing to pay for time and copies. Thanks, Wanda Pitt Cedar Hill, TX Nelda Conner wrote: > Barry, > > Addison died June 1, 1896, his wife Mariann or Marian died June 22, 1895 > both are buried at Board Branch Cemetery in Lone Grove, TX.
