Robert's wife, Sara Elizabeth SATTERWHITE b. abt 1830; place: uncertain (maybe Ark); d. unknown. After Roberts death (sometime after 1854) she is supposed to have remarried to a Mr. Dunning. Their son William Dempsey EDWARDS b. 1854; place: uncertain (some place in the Hill country); d. 1936 Austin, TX. Willaim's death certificate states that his parents were born in MS.
