Buffaloe was my husbands gg grandfather. We don't have alot of information about him, just that his wife was Francis M. Nobles -> born in Alabama and they were married November 23, 1853. Our information says that prior to that she was married to James Cox or Cocke, however, we were told in 1864 she married a Francis Ashley not a Cowan. Rufus Buffaloe was killed in the Civil War.
