Hite, Cemetery Preservation Coordinator in the History Programs Division of the Texas Historical Commission and he's excited at the opportunity to share his feelings about our cemetery preservation to a large group all at once Others that have been notified, Lee Campbell, Past Representative for the Texas State Genealogical Society {and my cousin} and her friend, Past President of the TSGS Wanda Donaldson. Hello! I am looking for information about William Davis from Bradley Co.,AR. He married Belle Elizabeth (Bettie) Hickman and they had three children: Thomas Franklin, William Green, and Laura. William supposedly fought in the Civil War and a pension was granted. Around 1870 William's along with several other families moved from Arkansas to Llano Co.,Texas. I am looking for any proof showing her and Samual as brother and sister, perhaps probate records of their mother, Matilda (1909) in Llano county or census records. I know that Samual is buried in Maypearl, Texas. I have a copy of his confederate pension papers. Sarah and her husband, Aaron, are buried in Wimberley, Texas. I visit their graves once a year. I am a member of the United Daughtes of the Confederacy and have traced my lineage to Aaron and Sarah and now would like to prove her to her brother, who also fought for the south.
