Debra Watt is on the other side of the county from where I am now working but I live about 7 mi. from Watt now. I did know some of the people in the area several yrs. ago but they have since died. I have not run into a Samuel Charles Wilson at this point but most of what I am working is pre 1900. The records are much better after 1900 so just do not spend much time bringing these families into 1900. Also trying to save space in the computer program. I am not really sure how many this program will hold. If you can get me back a generation on this Wilson I might could help. I have divided most of the Limestone Co. Wilson families into several groups. The ones I have the most on at this time is the Wilsons on the east side of the county. There was a Wilson family in the Big Hill area & I have some of that family. There was a Wilson family in Groesbeck that is not related to either the east or west Wilsons. They married into the Stroud family. Then there is the Gideon Wilson family that I am working with a man on also. Then there is the David Wilson family that was in Thornton. So as you see we have several different Wilson groups in Limestone Co. & feel sure there maybe more that I have not found at this time. Pat Oates in TX. Patricia, Do you know where i can get a list of people buried in Prairie Hill cemetary. My maternal grandmother, my moms baby sister, and several other of my family members on my moms side is buried in Prairie Hill. I would like a updated list if possible. My grandmother was Birtie Leora Michum Crockett. and my moms sister is Patsy Jane Crockett (died as a infant) Anut Dorothy is also buried in that cemetary. Dorothy Louise Gibson. She married a Gibson after Samuel Wilson died and Dorothy and Samuel were married in Athens, Tx. My dads brother Lawerence Kiggans (b Dart Ohio) and his wfe Viola Veru Michum Kiggans is also buried in that cemetary. Viola was Birtie's sister. I am kin to the Michums and Kimballs and Crocketts from Limestone Co. Limestone don't have many records on line. Where is the closest place to find records for Limestone Co. Like marriage records for 1880-1940 or birth records. Thanks for your response Debra ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patricia Oates" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2001 10:22 AM Subject: Re: [LIMEST] Re: [TXLIMEST] Wilson Family > Debra > Watt is on the other side of the county from where I am now working but I > live about 7 mi. from Watt now.
