The courthouse is very good. Their birth, married and death records are easy to read and work with. The library in Groesbeck has a small section for genealogy but is pretty nice to visit. I found several stories on my Beard Family, you can not copy things from their micro firm because they do not have a printer or didn't when I was there in April. Be sure to take a pencil and pad. The newspaper office did not have any data, they sent us to the library. One thing is for sure. Don't stay at the Limestone Inn, which is convenient because it is right across the street from the courthouse, restaurant, and one block from the library. The place was filthy. The ladies at the courthouse told us about a bed and breakfast place but can not remember the name.
