I was at the Library today and saw the Limestone County, Texas, Cemetery Survey published by Limestone County Historical Museum. I wonder if someone can give me the location of the Wood Cemetery or Cedar Island Cemetery. My Great Greatgrandfather John Kelly Wood (1818-1876) and GGGrandmother Ann Elizabeth Sawyers Wood (1819-1879) were both buried on their home place in Cedar Island. Loyd Wood (June 25, 1893 - Feb 23, 1979 buried in Armour Cemetery) showed me the location in 1967. It was under trees and their burial spots were simply marked with rocks. In 1967 there was no sign that this was a family burial plot, We had to drive off the road through a field to get to the location. It was called the "Wood Cemetery" by Loyd Wood. I am wondering if the Wood Cemetery or Cedar Island Cemetery is the same cemetery where my John Kelly Wood & wife are buried? I would appreciate any help any one can give me. Thanks. Margaret
