I believe they were from the Oletha-Lost Pairie area. I am curious about your George Sanders family. Could they be descendants of Amanda Cotten and John Sanders who are on the 1860-1870 census of Limestone? I have children for Amanda and John Sanders as: William E. born 1858, Drury born 1860, Ardeno (?) born 1862, James Sanders born 1866, and Annie born 1869. I have not looked at the 1880 census for more children. Amanda Cotten Sanders is the daughter of Abigail Herring Cotten and John Ira Ellis Cotten.
