I am the great granddaughter of Lillian Arenda Brown-Stevens-Moody-Sanders. Nona Faye Sanders Kruger is my grandmothers half-sister. My grandmother was Minnie Ola Stevens Frazier d.1975,sister of Mildred Stevens Cobb and half sister to Nona, Georgie, Ione, William, Thomas, Pearl, Alice, all children of Lilly and George Sanders. I believe they were from the Oletha-Lost Pairie area. I'm still searching for more on Robert P. Brown and Ella D. Mayo parents of Lillian and Roy. Robert Brown and son Roy were suppose to be buried in Ferguson Cemetery in unmarked graves just outside the fence and no one can remember the location after they moved the fence around. Also looking for more on Jess Stevens and his father Ed Stevens b.1857 also from Limestone Co. Ed was suppose to be from Ireland before moving to Limestone Co. He was a bricklayer. Jess disappeared and the family lost contact with him. He divorced Lilly Brown and married Kate Moody, divorced her and married again (unknown). Thats when the family lost contact. I believe he and Kate Moody had children but I don't know for sure. Jess had two brothers that lived in Groesbeck area. One moved to Shreveport LA. I have discussed my family with Pat Oates before. Anyone who knows anything about these families please contact me. Patti The only Kate Moody I have is a Iva Kate Moody b:abt 1905 in the LCT 1930 census she is living with her Mother & no Husband, I have kids for her as Ramona A King b: abt 1930 & James M King b:abt 1926. This family was in the Thornton area. The Moody family owned the 2 story house near the cem. in Thornton. The property today is owned by Ramona Ann.
