Joanna The only Staten I have is Ellen Staten b: 1839 married Daniel S Monaghan & were in the LCT 1880 census. The only Gilford I have is Mary Conner Gilford b:1846 married John Fowler they are buried at Pottershop Cem in LCT. John Fowler owned the potter shop in Oletha LCT. Their house still stands in the area & is beautiful still today. My Grandmother talked of John Fowler often when I was a child but I find no connection between our families just neighbors. I would bet you have a connection to one of these females some how these are not common LCT names.
