    3. Hi John, You might contact Bob Wright at the Mexia Daily News 254-562-2868 or someone at the Gibbs Memorial Library www.gibbslibrary.com 254-562-3231. I know the library has quite a few pictures of Mexia during the oil boom. BTW, there is an Earl Anderson listed in the phone book: 254-562-3545 whom you might try just in case there is a cousin there.... My father, Charles O ANDERSON and his brother, Earl J. ANDERSON, who were oil men, moved to Mexia in about 1921. Here's where it got strange. Instead of drilling, they opened a Studebaker dealership and ran it untill about 1926. I am looking for information and pictures of the dealership. I have a picture of the showroom and thier cars in a parade on my website http://www.geocities.com/johncanderson_99/anderson.html. I would appreciate any information. Thanks, John C. 3. Hi Jean, Been to both places. The library was a gold mine of information. I'm hoping to find someone who has personal knowledge or old pictures that weren't in the newspaper. The newspaper sent me to the library. Thanks, John C.
