I can offer no help on your Howell family, the oldest one I have is James William Howell b:1855 ALA married Tempie Emma Henderson. Do not have a James Patterson old enough to be your man either, oldest James Patterson I have is born 1876 TN. I have a Malcom Patterson born 1859 ALA Also I see your Howell family went to OKLA , there is a group of families that left the Beulah, Davis Prairie area of Limestone Co & went to OKLA somewhere around 1900. Do you know what area of LCT your Howell family lived? Most of the Howell families I have are in & around Thornton to the Davis Prairie area.
