    3. I thought I would send this to the List as others asked me about my Owen(s) in Limestone County, TX. I have not posted my Owen query in some time, hope this is a good time and someone will know of this family. Thanks Wanda wrtracy@juno.com My OWEN(s) moved to Limestone Co from Walker Co about ca 1853-55. I am not > sure, but think around Personville area, or maybe Groesbeck. My ggrand > father Pinckney W. & wife Zillah Ann ( Zilley) had 10 children: P.W. died > ca 1866-69 and Zilley died abt 1877.. > > James Jeff b. abt 1840 died in Civil War buried in AR. > > John Franklin b. abt. 1842 married Isabelle Little ( dau of J. W. > ittle -Limestone Co) & had one son George Barney who has/had many > descendants in Limestone Co ( He married a Moody) > John died abt. 1867. > > Robert Dale "Bob" b. 1844 married a Miss Favors died abt 2-4 yrs > afterwards. > > Mary Jane b. 1847 married Pink Favors, died 2-3 after marriage. > > Sarah Ann b. 1849 married Lucien B. Phariss, had 2 daughters, Margaret > Zillah and Mary "Mollie." One of the girls married a Cox and the other > married a Wren. > Sarah Ann married James Franklin Lummus and they had 5-6 children, she died > abt. 1887-89 > > Turner Wilson ( Pinckney W.) b. 1852, married Lydia Elmore, Bella > McDaniel, Synthia "Annie" Shiflett & Isadora Aten.
