And another: Sandy (Hwy 84W to FM 2310; turn right; near Union Church). Jan, Along with one other response I can tell that the Oak Hill Cemetery is it. Do you know anything about the Sandy Community? It is marked on the map. My map shows the location of two cemeteries near Union Church. One is in an area next to the Sandy Community called Henry. The road it is off of looks like 161. It's a short little road from 2310 to 180 near the Union Church Cemetery. Rondina
Rondina---wish I could help on Sandy community, but I can't. I did some "rambling" in Limestone Co. several years ago (mostly exploring old cemeteries), and it seems like I remember going to Sandy, but can't be sure. I have a lot of family from Limestone Co.---Browns, Bryants, Kindreds, Sheltons (and many more collateral lines)---and had never been there until about 1996 when I spent several weekends in the area. I now live in MO, so it's much harder to get back to visit. What are your families from the area (if you don't mind sharing)? Also I have a copy of the "Roadmap to Limestone County, Texas Cemeteries" done several years ago by Lisa M. Rothrock & Betty M. Morrow, so can sometimes help with locations of cemeteries. Happy Huntings!!
