Hey Candy, you might want to check out this site if you havent found it yet It list Nancy Rutherford Wasn't that your Joseph's daughter who was raised by a Joseph Durst family?? I was doing some research on the ruthefords and found it. It ist her as a orphan. the website is http://searches1.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/archives/tx/census/1835/1835anac.txt After you get to the page go to the edit button at the top of the page and click on find on this page and type in Rutherford, Hope it helps you with your genealogy.
