Lynda Thanks at least I will quit searching MS for him in 1860. I did find where Dailey P Hammond his bro. b: 1842 MS married in 1866 Yalobusha Co MS & this is the county where the Burns family was in 1850 just can not get any of these Hammond names to turn up on a search of MS 1850 with my Ancestry. Guess it is time I go back through the 1860 LCT census again page by page. If anyone finds this Hammond family in 1850 please let me know I am sure wanting to see how many of these Hammond men who came to LCT were bros. Feel sure Tim would like to know also. I feel sure they are in MS in 1850 just will not show up with my Ancestry census index search.
