Thanks for replying. I too looked through births, deaths, & marriages. Knowing what I do now, I really need to go back. I did get a copy of my mother's birth and marriage certificate and a copy of my grandfather's death certificate. However, they would not let you make copies, they had to be certified. I now know I should have stayed a few more hrs. and wrote many items down. There records were easy to use. Maybe I'll go back.
