    3. Shirley I just got into a Beard/Cox/King connection today in my Limestone Co. data base. I have been trying to clean up a Beard family I am working on in Limestone Co. & it lead into the King Cem. group of people. I just checked & do not have a Ellen Leander Cox but do have some Beard men with no wives. Some of this is the James Rose Beard family. It is not that Limestone Co does not have what records that were kept in order. They just did not keep them back in that time frame. The records that Limestone Co. has are well kept today. The fact that you can not find a birth or death cert. in the courthouse has nothing to do with how the records are kept today.
