Hi Patricia and list, My g-grandfather was James W. "Jim" BERRY. He married Holly SPRINGFIELD. Holly's family was living in Limestone Co., by 1850 and she was born about 1854, probably in Limestone or Falls County. "Jim" was born Jul 1848 in Texas or Alabama and may have had a father called, "Jack" BERRY. I was hoping that he was counted in the census. None of the names you mentioned sounded familiar but I don't know enough about the family to give a considered opinion. Thanks for your interest. Mika I am sure if we can get back in time a little more we will find some connection to these Berry families I have. Berry is not that common a name in Limestone Co. Don't give up on me I will keep digging. Shirley & I that were talking Beard earlier tonight have really turned up some good things. If we keep going we may end up kin :>). You just have to keep looking an asking. Pat Oates in TX. At 04:23 AM 5/30/2001 +0000, you wrote: >Hi Patricia and list, > >My g-grandfather was James W. "Jim" BERRY.
