Hello, I am new to this list. I am trying to find out about the Henry G. SANDERS family that lived in Limestone and Falls Counties in Texas. He was born in 1832. Henry married Mary M. Gage in Limestone County in 1857. Their children were George E. Sanders; Ella wife of H. A. Paine; Julia wife of James Marlin; Rhoda wife of John Atkinson; H. Edward; Mary Dodie wife of W. W. Miller. Henry served in Co. F 15th Texas Cavalry in the Civil War. A Edward M. ALTSON served in the same company. In the 1870 census of Falls County, the son of Edward M. ALSTON, George ALSTON (age 12) was living with Henry G. SANDERS and family. Would like to know if there is a relationship between the two families.
