    3. David You will find that Limestone Co. had a real problem getting the death & birth records recorded. My GGrandparents died in the 1920s in the Oletha area which is in the south east corner of Limestone Co. & they did not have a death cert. recorded. I have been told that the state of Texas came in & threatened Limestone Co. with a suit for not complying with the orders to record these events. Also my Father was born in Limestone Co. in 1913 & he got his birth cert. when he joined the army during WW2. Pat Oates in TX.
