    3. In case some of you don't know, David and I had to give up the management of USGenWeb's Limestone County page. I had no problem assisting but I am just too loaded down to manage it by myself and David is going on to other things. However, we do have a new County Coordinator for Limestone and he is Tom Ellis. Tom has been with us for a couple of years and manages several other county sites. He has given me permission to post his "introduction" here for you and I hope you will all help me make him feel welcome to both the list and the project. I believe he will be an asset to both. Gina From Tom: As you know I have several counties that I am the CC for as well as Carrollton/Farmers Branch in Dallas County and am the webmaster for Peters Colony Historical Society of Dallas County. I am also working part time at beginning a Web Design/Internet Marketing Business as well as work full time in commercial printing. My days, and nights, are full but enjoy the research and design. I am in the process of redesigning the Limestone County Site as we speak. I hope to have it up by the end of this week. I started researching my family roots in late 2001 after 9/11. I injured my shoulder and was off work for six months and needed something to do. I had always wanted to know more about my roots, but just never had the time. I have nearly always been self employed, therefore not having much time off. A retired pastor that is just about the best friend I have, called me into his office and said he wanted to talk to me. The first thing that went through my mind was, "What have I done wrong now?". But that wasn't the case. He started asking me questions about my family and then it went from there. He has been researching his famly for about 20 yrs and has been a great asset to me. This past year I have assumed the duties of 4 counties, Jim Hogg, Duval, Leon and now Limestone. I chose Leon and Limestone partially because the are neighboring counties and I have Ellis and Moore roots that I believe came from or through there. I am always open to suggestions and comments. I do not consider any genealogy site that I have to be MY site. The site is there for the researchers, I just maintain the the walls of the site. I will accept just about anything that a researcher wants to submit as long as it is within the scope of the county research, present or past, and no copyright laws have been violated. That is all I really ask for in submissions. If any one has any questions, please feel free to ask. That is what I am here for. If I don't know the answer, I will try to find it.
